Rachael turns 2000 years old! Can become ah ma already

Happy Birthday Rachael!

I wonder what are your thoughts for turning two thousand... I mean twenty years old! =) Would it be the anguish of having 3 more strands of white hair? Could it be the scary thought that you have and will inevitably grow out of the "sweet 16" category! haha... What about letting your focus be on the marvelous blessings from the Lord...

1. His continual presence with you and family

I think it's amazing how the Lord has kept your family over these few years... How He has preserved you (and others) as you get behind the wheel.. hee hee! How He has kept your dad as he travels overseas too!

2. A sharp mind

You obviously don't fail to remind me how well you've done in your exams! =D Always remember that it is God that blesses you with a sharp mind and not you yourself! Seek to use it for His glory!

3. A strong group of friends to fall back on

Never take for granted the excellent friendships that you've forged over the past 20 years... They are little glimpses of the magnificent love God showers upon you!

4. Privilege of understanding Scripture better

"And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables," (Mark 4:11, NKJV)

I think we are of all people blessed if we can not just learn but understand the Lord's word better each passing year! And you have been specially chosen to be His child to know His mysteries! That's just so wonderful!

I'm sure being a year older, you can testify of many more blessings in your life! =) Never lose sight of the Lord, Rach... Looking forward to serving alongside you in the year to come! Have a super birthday, ah ma! kee hee hee...
