Happy 20th!

My dear Rachael,

The birthday girl stands once more on the threshold of a shining and unblemished year, untouched yet by time and frustration, unclouded by failure and fear... What will the new year hold? So excited for you! There are many things to look forward to, this phase of your life.

May you continue to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness (1Tim 6:11)... and when that pursuit is real and serious, we will also recognise what awful sinners we are. May our knowledge of our God of grace deepen, that we will not become discouraged and slack off in our quest to grow in His likeness. It will be a life-long pursuit.

Thanking God for you... for sharing, for being real, for your lovely singing voice, for being a wonderful friend to your classmates at Sunday School, for your love for the little ones.
